Boat trips and hire
Within just a few minutes of the gite, there a a number of sailing and surfing schools where you can hire dinghys, catamarans, canoes, kite surfers, wind surfers and surfboards, either by the hour, half-day or full day.

Sailing boat hire
Take the afternoon to explore the coast from the sea. Dinghy and catamaran hire is available from St Lunaire and other local beaches.

Surfing
La grande plage at Lancieux has a small surf cabin that hires surfboards and wet suits for around 30 euros per day. They also hire body boards and provide surf training if required.

Electric boats
Young children will love piloting these miniature electric boats around the lake. Whilst you are here, take the opportunity to try out the tree climbing in the forest surrounding the lake.

Canoeing and Kayaking
Just under the Viaduct at the Port de Dinan is canoe and kayak hire. Paddle up or downstream in one man or two man boats to see the local waterside wildlife.

Dinan pleasure boat
If canoeing is too energetic, then also at the Port de Dinan is the pleasure boat, Jaman IV. The trip takes you down the River Rance to the historic town or Lehon and back again.

Winter Kite surfing at Briantias beach.
Exhilarating autumn fun. There is a school only a few miles away where you can hire all the kit required. On a breezy day there can be upwards of 20 kites racing around the bay.
